The Wild Cryptomaze!

The Wild Cryptomaze

The Wild Cryptomaze

Cryptomaze instructions: first solve the maze to find the cryptogram word.  Then there is an encrypted message in the left over letters.  Use the key P=D to help decode them both.
Original concept and artwork by Rob Hughes.

Cryptomaze 016 “The Wild Cryptomaze”.  You’ll see the relevance of the the title, as usual, after you solve the cryptomaze.  In this cryptomaze, the leftover letters are a quote by a famous person.  Have fun solving it!

The artwork here is based on generally filling the interior space of the frame with circles, and then, adding a few more (!) so as to have enough places to put all the letters for the author’s name and his quote.  The original is flawed, and I had to fix the maze in post.  Thankfully, it wasn’t too hard, and reinforces my decision to solve the mazes I make here.  I always double check the letters in the message part; it was the maze that I originally mis-drew.

Artwork and concept by Rob Hughes.  Drawn with india ink on Canson acid free vellum.
